About K-Boogie
Originally born in Caracas, Venezuela, K-Boogie moved to the rainy Pacific northwest at the age of 7. After having lived 8 years in Chile, he calls Chile, Venezuela, as well as Vancouver his home.
A DJ / producer, from the old school, K-Boogie’s been involved in the Hip Hop scene since 84, since the days of Wild Style, Beatstreet & Breakin’.
Much of his musical influences come from his latin background but as he got older, he added to his life a lil something we call hip hop. Everything from b-boying , grafitti, and DJ’ing.
Along the way, many aspects of his life influenced his taste of music, ultimately widening it even further. Among those, House Music, Funk, Skate Punk, Jazz, Drum & Bass are all part of K-Boogie’s psyche, most noticeable in his more electro tracks.
